About This Game It's not just any job - it's YOUR NIGHT JOB!Black night, an abandoned mansion and a bunch of monsters. Sounds like the perfect job. Players will have to use a a variety of weapons to save their skin and master the challenge of leading survivors to safety, while also defending the building from invaders. They can use more than 60 weapons, from vases and floor lamps to chainsaws, shotguns and ginormous hammers. If the monsters thrash too many rooms or the player's health bar runs out, only an entry in the highscore list will remain of you. REST IN PEACE!Fast-paced, challenging action, hunting for the top spot in the highscore list, and an 80s horror movie setting - tons of fun and bizarre humor!Carefully designed: Never before has an abandoned mansion looked so inviting for explorers.Old School feel: The way it used to be, but better. Not just decoration: Your Achievements become actual in-game bonuses.Discoveries galore: Find something new around every corner.Endless horror: A total of 11 types of monster are waiting to be defeated with more than 60 unique weapons or your bare hands.Guaranteed adrenaline rush: The longer you play, the harder it will get 7aa9394dea Title: My Night JobGenre: Action, IndieDeveloper:Webcore GamesPublisher:bitComposer Interactive GmbHRelease Date: 21 Apr, 2016 My Night Job Activation Code Fun little beat 'em up game that can get hectic (which I liked) at some times when you rush through the house to prevent a room from being demolished. You can beat the game rather quickly (took me an hour, that is 4 attemps) and from then on it's achievement grinding or getting the highscore. So this might not be for everyone.I would have loved to see some little upgrade system either ingame (maybe let rescued survivors count as points) or in the style of Rogue Legacy. This would encoure me to spend some more time with the game.I might pick it up again in the future if I have 20 minutes to kill.I you are not entirely sold on the idea of this game, I'd suggest waiting for it to go on sale.. Fun pixelated beat em up\/save them all game that is just dripping with horror movie influence. Honestly as much fun as the game is, my favorite part about this is isn't the gameplay. It's all the homages to 70's and 80's horror. From evil Dead to Little shop Of Horrors, to something that looks like Terminators on acid. There is a ton going on the the background to see as well. As fun to watch as it is to play. I could have used a bit more variety, because as it is it seems like it's just one identical level to play in so repetitiveness could become an issue after enough play. Still, its quite fun. I def recommend.. Game dont want to work with controllers except the x360 one. The pixel art is nice but.. the game view gets too crowded at times, very annoying to play when you cannot see much.. too many enemies at once and your character gets lost among them.. I am sorry.https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fIy72rKreUQ. Horribly addictive, incredibly well made, ridiculously fun and VERY challenging! Your primary goal is to save all the victims but you won't get far without weapons and keeping an eye on the rooms provides just enough challenge to ramp up the adrenaline without feeling like the game is being cheap. LOVE it!. My Night Job is a fun action game about a guy going through a house filled with monsters trying to rescue people. There are a variety of weapons in the game, all with different pros and cons. Some do great damage and hit multiple enemies, but have a low durability, and things like that. The game is not quite that simple though. While trying to rescue 100 people(for an idea of how long that takes, in about 17 minutes I saved 23 people), you also have to watchout for rooms that have too many monsters in them. If too many monsters get into a single room, they will start destroying the room. You can only let 3 rooms be destroyed, because you lose if 4 get destroyed. The house itself is kind of a maze to try to get around, which adds to the challenge of the game. There are also some power-ups that you can get by rescuing VIPs. For example, I rescued an old lady in a wheel chair, and she gave me a power-up that instantly killed all of the enemies on my screen. Besides the house getting destroyed, you can also lose by dying, but that was probably obvious. After you fail, or win if you happen to be good at the game, you get your score placed on the leaderboards, so it can be a fun game for trying to beat a friend's highscore or something like that. There is no real story to the game outside of what is shown in the opening cutscene when the game is opened. Overall, the game is a lot of fun. Keep in mind, this was sort of a first impressions for me, and this is what I gathered when I first played the game. There may be more that I have missed. If you are interested in seeing some gameplay, you can check out my video: https:\/\/youtu.be\/MlQ-zwC506w. An old-school modern game - and not a game made today but born old.If you are... differently young... you will love this, but I strongly recommend this for everybody!. In many ways, this game reminds me of Zombies Ate My Neighbors, but this is clearly not ZAMN.https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=qWkWC3LCOSA&list=PLYkTBSuzozCRmWovr0gMsVFUKAo1s94JK&index=81You have to run from room to room taking out all kinds of wacky monsters that are trying to destroy the house while you round up survivors. If they destroy too much of it, you lose. If you die, you lose. Pretty straightforward, but it's surprisingly hard.. Overall I really enjoy this game! The art style, refrences to horror media, and constant action make it really enjoyable. The game gets pretty challenging and forces you to make some tough choices on pathing throughout the mansion and when to do certain things, overall really fun. If you are interested in seeing some gameplay, below is my run that at the time was the second highest score in the game. https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=a3hsMJGEsdk. To be honest I'm not sure this game deserves a positive rating. Kudos for the gajillion horror-movie references but in all honesty what the heck is going on in this game? You're the bald guy from the Phantasm movies and you're watching TV and see some soldiers with gas masks then a dollar sign pops up and you're in a mansion full of various horror movie monsters rescuing random people and fighting the monsters with random objects in melee fashion... ok but can we get a little more explanation? He's hired to do this? What organization is this? Why are there random people in a house filled with various Hollywood monsters? What the hell is the goal other than just randomly grabbing people for rescue? I haven't progressed to a next level, is the entire game this just one building? Honestly the fact that story and background and really no objective is given or instructions on what to do to complete a level (if there even are and it isn't literally just this same house every time) really bug me. Also if I'm going to fight a horde of monsters while trying to protect a wave of people following me I've supposedly rescued, can you throw me an AK47 or something instead of a footlocker? I really don't get this game. But it's not awful enough to warrant a negative review, but I'm not sure it's really good enough for positive. Make what you want of it, I don't get it.
